Princess Genevieve is gearing up for her SPRING DRESS UP DRIVE. We are looking for businesses to host drop off boxes for parents wishing to donate March 10 though April 4. If you would like to host a drop off box at your location please email jen [at] kingdomofazuria [dot] com.
Leave your cleaned and gently loved, outgrown Spring dresses, Prom gowns, and boys suits to be donated to local families just in time for Easter.

Dressing up has always been Princess Genevieve’s favorite thing to do. In 2009, she she began hosting this twice annual event. In the spring for Easter clothes and the other in the Fall for Halloween Costumes.

Dropped off the costumes we collected for this year’s Halloween Dress Up Drive this afternoon! It was another successful year for the costume drive. We were able to donate about 100 costumes of all sizes to the kids at the Club.

Join us TOMORROW October 28 on 4th Street in Warrenton at Tagaloo for the HALLOWEEN BASH at 6pm. We’re closing down 4th Street for FREE harvest games and activities, a costume contest, face painting, lots of candy, and remember to bring your carved pumpkin to be judged. We’re especially looking forward to the performances from Fauquier Community Theatre www.fctstage.org.

We have ended our collection for the 2011 Halloween Dress Up Drive! Thank you to Chik-Fil-A and Kingdom’s Kids at WUMC in Warrenton, as well as Giant Food Stores in Haymarket and Gainesville for their participation.
We will be dropping off the costumes to the kids at the Boys & Girls Club of Fauquier tomorrow, just in time for the children to choose a costume for Halloween! They will be joining us on this Friday, October 28 on 4th Street at Tagaloo for the HALLOWEEN BASH at 6pm. FREE harvest games and activities for kids as well as performances from Fauquier Community Theatre.
Its time for the Fall Dress Up Drive! We are accepting cleaned and gently loved, outgrown boys and girls costumes to be donated to the local Boys & Girls’ Club again this Fall.
Princess Genevieve will be making an extra special appearance during Kid’s Nite at Chik-Fil-A from 7-8pm on Tuesday, October 18th for “Bedtime Stories with Princess Genevieve”. Come in your royal jammies, you won’t want to miss this sweet evening of stories to send you off into dreamland.

Join us October 28th from 6-8pm at Tagaloo for the Halloween Bash to celebrate with games and other free activities for families! Camp season has come to a close for the summer. We love spending the mornings making crafts, singing, reading stories and dancing at Tagaloo! Thank you to Ms Kim at Tagaloo for all she did for us. [slideshow]

Thank you to everyone who’s hard work made the Dress Up Drive and our Halloween Bash a success! We could not be more excited about the amount of costumes that were donated for the Boys and Girls Clubs in Warrenton and Cedar Lee; with more left over to go to the local churches!
I was about in tears to see the turn out on Friday night. Dress up and pretend goes hand in hand with childhood. Thank you all for making my little dream for all children to have the privilege of having a costume a reality this year!

As an extension to Chick-Fil-A’s weekly Kid’s Night, tomorrow TUESDAY October 12th our very own Princess Genevieve will be attending. Please remember to bring your costumes to donate to the Dress Up Drive. Costumes collected will go to the Warrenton Boy’s & Girl’s Club! If we have extra costumes they will become a part of our Costume Swap during the Big Halloween Bash on October 22nd!
Look for the Princess around 7pm tomorrow. Ms. Lyn will be doing her fantastic face painting from 5-8pm!!

How to Donate
1. De-clutter by sorting through your dress up bins and closets!
2. Clean used costumes and make sure any accessories are attached by a safety pin or plastic baggie.
3. Drop them Off locally! Look for specific dates to drop off at these locations
Warrenton: Tagaloo, The Ballet Academy of Warrenton, Cold Stone, Chik-Fil-A.
Haymarket: Dharma & Leopold’s, Cupcake Heaven.
